Wedding Planning Questions
For full planning, twelve to eighteen months out is ideal, especially for popular Houston venues and spring or fall dates. Partial planning typically starts six to nine months out. Day-of coordination should be booked at least three months ahead so there’s time to review contracts and build the timeline properly. That said, we’ve taken on weddings on shorter notice — ask us about your date before you assume it’s too late.
A venue coordinator works for the venue. Their job is the building — access, setup rules, in-house staff. They aren’t managing your florist, your photographer, or your ceremony timeline, and they leave when the venue’s obligations are met. We work for you. We manage every vendor you’ve hired, run the timeline for the entire day, and stay through send-off.
Yes. Multi-day celebrations are a significant part of our work, including full South Asian wedding weekends with separate events, venues, and vendor teams for each day.
Both work. We have vendors across Houston we trust and can recommend, but you’re never required to use them. If you’ve already booked, we take over communication, review the contracts, and fold them into the timeline.
