Corporate Events, Planned by One Person Since 2009.

Conferences, galas, product launches, and executive dinners. I’m Momo, a Houston corporate event planner, and you work with me directly.

Corporate work is where this company started and it’s still the bulk of what I do.

I spent eight years in oil and gas supply chain before this, so I run events the way I ran shipments — on a schedule, against a budget, with a backup plan already written.

Most of my clients are operations managers, executive assistants, and marketing leads who got handed an event on top of a full-time job. They don’t need inspiration. They need someone to hold the timeline, chase the vendors, and answer the phone at 6 a.m. on load-in day.

I also plan social events and weddings, including South Asian weddings.

One point of contact.
You call me. Not an account manager, not a coordinator you’ve never met.

Budget in writing before we book anything.
You see line items, not a lump sum. If something is going to run over, you hear it from me first. If you need help scoping the program before you commit to a budget, that’s what my consulting work is for.

Vendor contracts reviewed, not forwarded.
I negotiate the terms and I read the fine print — service charges, overtime, cancellation windows, load-in fees.

A run-of-show everyone gets.
Venue, caterer, AV, entertainment, and your internal team all work from the same document with the same times on it.

Backup plans written down, not improvised.
Weather, no-show vendors, AV failure, headcount swings. Contingencies exist before the day, not during it.

Hiring a Houston corporate event planner should reduce your workload, not add a vendor for you to manage. If you’re working out timing for a December event, here’s when to book a Houston corporate holiday party and what’s usually gone by October.

WHAT I PLAN

Conferences and Summits

Multi-day agendas for up to 500 attendees. Breakout rooms, AV, speaker logistics, registration flow, attendee movement. I build the run-of-show and I hold it.

Sales Kickoffs and Team Offsites

Teams of 30 to 300. Venue sourcing, room blocks, catering, transportation, production.

Galas and Fundraisers

Seated dinners, program pacing, sponsor recognition, auction logistics, donor tables.

Client and Board Dinners

Small, high-stakes, no margin for error. Private rooms, custom menus, quiet service. Typically 10 to 40 guests.

Product Launches and Openings

Press-facing events where the space, the timing, and the photos all have to work.

Holiday Parties and Company Celebrations

Anniversaries, milestones, end-of-year events. Book by September for December dates in Houston — the good venues go first.

Areas I Serve

I plan corporate events across Greater Houston: downtown Houston, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Katy, Pearland, Cypress, Spring, and Galveston.

If your team is flying in, I handle venue sourcing, hotel room blocks, and ground transportation as part of the program.

Tell me where your team is coming from and I’ll take it from there.

FAQ

Every corporate event is quoted individually. Cost depends on guest count, venue, catering, and production needs, and those vary enough that a published number would mislead you. Tell me your date, headcount, and what the event needs to accomplish, and I’ll come back with a written line-item budget. Planning fees are quoted per event up front, not as a percentage surprise at the end.

I handle the parts that eat your week. Venue sourcing and site visits, vendor selection and negotiation, contracts, budget tracking, the run-of-show, and on-site management the day of. You approve decisions. I do the chasing.

They do different jobs. A venue coordinator manages the venue — their rooms, their staff, their rules. I manage your event across every vendor, including the venue. Nobody at the venue is negotiating your AV contract, tracking your total budget, or calling your caterer when the schedule slips.

The earlier the better, especially for multi-day conferences and anything in the fourth quarter, when Houston venues fill early. That said, I take short-timeline events regularly. Send me your date and I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s workable.
