I’m Moon Jamaluddin. Most people call me Momo.
I started Events by Momo in 2009 after eight years managing supply chains in Houston’s energy sector. That work taught me something most event planners learn the hard way: a beautiful event and a well-run event are two different projects. One is design. The other is logistics — vendors, timelines, contingencies, and the fifty small decisions nobody sees.
I do both. Logistics is where I earned my reputation.
Since then I’ve run corporate programs for companies that don’t tolerate improvisation, coordinated private celebrations for families marking the milestones that matter, and planned weddings — including a significant number of South Asian weddings, which have become a genuine specialty. I also opened a wine bar in Midtown, which taught me more about hospitality operations than any course could.
I also work with other planners and event professionals through consulting and coaching.

Conferences, galas, product launches, executive dinners, and multi-day programs. I've supported Fortune 500 teams where the run of show is measured in minutes. Your team focuses on the room. I handle everything that makes the room work.
Social and Lifestyle Events
Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, quinceañeras, showers, and dinner parties. Built around the people in the room, not a template.
Weddings
Full planning, partial planning, or day-of coordination — depending on how much you want to carry yourself. Roughly 80% of my wedding work is South Asian, spanning multi-day celebrations with distinct ceremony requirements.
