Thoughtful planning and expert coordination, so you can be fully present on the most important day of your life.
A South Asian wedding isn’t one event. It’s four or five, spread across several days, each with its own guest list, venue, vendor team, catering plan, and set of expectations from both families.
That’s the work we know best. We’ve built our vendor network around these celebrations — caterers who cook for large guest counts without cutting corners, decor teams who can turn a ballroom around overnight, venues that already understand what a baraat entrance involves.
You shouldn’t have to explain your own traditions to the people you hired. We come in already knowing the sequence, the timing, and where things typically go sideways.
Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the country, and we love that our work reflects it. We have the experience to plan and coordinate traditional weddings, modern celebrations, multicultural and fusion ceremonies, and multi day cultural events. Whatever your background or vision, we bring the cultural sensitivity and logistical know how to honor it beautifully.
The formal announcement, often the first time both families gather in full. Smaller in scale, high in significance.
Henna, color, and turmeric — the pre-wedding rituals. Relaxed by design, but each needs its own setup, floor protection, and a turnaround plan before the next event.
Choreographed performances, family dances, and a run-of-show that needs real production management — sound, lighting, staging, and rehearsal time built into the schedule.
The groom's procession — dhol, dancing, and often a horse or open car. The most logistics-heavy thirty minutes of the weekend, and the one venues most often need walked through in advance.
Pheras under a mandap, a nikah, or an Anand Karaj. We coordinate directly with your officiant on timing and setup, and we protect the departure from a timeline that's running behind.
The largest event of the weekend — the biggest guest count, the most vendors, and the full program from entrances through dinner service and dancing.
Guest counts most planners aren’t built for
300 to 800 guests across multiple events, with head-counts that shift right up to the week of. We plan seating, catering, and floor flow with that variability built in rather than bolted on.
Catering that meets real requirements
Halal, Jain, vegetarian, no beef, no pork, or a menu that satisfies four different sets of dietary rules at one table. We source caterers who handle this as standard practice and hold them to it in writing.
Venue turnarounds on tight windows
When two events share a ballroom, the flip happens overnight. We build the load-out and load-in schedule with the venue and decor team so nobody discovers the problem at 2 a.m.
Two families, one weekend
Different expectations, different traditions, sometimes different cities. We handle the coordination directly so decisions get made without either side feeling managed around.
Religious timing that doesn’t negotiate
If your ceremony has an auspicious window, the entire day’s timeline works backward from it. We plan that way from the start.
Out-of-town guests at scale
Hotel blocks, airport arrivals, shuttle schedules, and welcome bags for guests flying in from across the country or overseas.
We offer the same three levels of support as our other weddings, scaled to a multi-day weekend.
Full Planning is what most South Asian couples choose. Venue sourcing across every event, vendor negotiation, budget management, design direction, guest logistics, and on-site management from the first event through the last. One point of contact for the entire weekend.
Partial Planning picks up where you are — often after the venue and date are locked — and carries the vendor selection, timeline, and coordination through to the day.
Day-Of Coordination covers execution only. For couples who’ve planned the weekend themselves and need someone running the timeline and the vendors so both families can be guests.
We work with Houston’s South Asian wedding vendors regularly — caterers, decor and mandap teams, dhol players, mehndi artists, photographers who know the ceremony sequence, and DJs with the right music library.
We also work with venues that haven’t hosted these weddings before, and we handle that briefing ourselves: procession routes, open-flame requirements, kitchen access for outside catering, sound limits, and overnight setup. If you’ve found a space you love that isn’t a typical South Asian venue, that’s a conversation, not a dealbreaker.
Either. Most couples bring us in for the full weekend because that’s where the coordination value is highest — the timeline, vendor teams, and venue turnarounds all connect. But if you only need help with the sangeet or the reception, we’ll take that on its own.
Yes, and it’s more common than people expect. A Hindu ceremony in the morning and a Western ceremony in the afternoon, or a nikah followed by a reception that looks nothing like it — we plan the sequence so both traditions get their full weight instead of one feeling like an add-on.
We coordinate directly with your pandit, imam, granthi, or officiant on timing, setup requirements, and anything they need staged in advance. You’re not the messenger between us.
Twelve to eighteen months, and closer to eighteen if you’re targeting a peak date or need multiple venues. Booking several venues, a large-format caterer, and a decor team for the same weekend takes longer than a single-day wedding.
